A Sampler Quilt

Over 100 free blocks to use with our award winning tools. Easy to follow patterns, traditional and new ones designed by Leonie West.

We have been a leading Quilting Tools Manufacturer and Inventor of innovative products for nearly three years now. We have spoken to hundreds of quilters already using various products from our range and we are often asked for projects where they can use these tools to their full potential.

Leonie has put together patterns written expressly with our products in mind. Most of the blocks can be made using our starter set of Rulers and Triangles. That is the Adjustable Ruler, the Half Square and Quarter Square Triangles. Sure there are other tools that will be required from time to time but that will be your decision.

If you would like to make a Sampler Quilt and are not sure whether or not your Patchwork Shop is participating in this project, you can still register to receive access to the Free Block Patterns. You do not have to enter the conpetition to receive the patterns.

If you decide later on that you might enter, then you will be in the running for $250.00 worth of our products of your choice.

How do I receive the Patterns?

To receive the Free patterns, you will need to register (using the form below).

It is worth talking to your local Patchwork Shop about the project, they are more than likely able to offer skilled advice along the way and if they register they will have the Patterns a little earlier. Class fees and tutoring costs may be applicable.

Once registered, we will provide with free access to the patterns as they become available.

Notification of new updates will be emailed to you, with patterns released each month with the balance going out to you in October.

It is up to you how the patterns are used in your Quilt. You can be selective; after all, there will be more than enough blocks to choose from. You can even create your own design

Competition Rules

The Competition is only open to Australian residents and Australian Patchwork Shops.

To be eligible for prize consideration, your quilt will need to have a minimum of 49 different patterns selected from the range made available, sewn into a quilt. (Quilt Tops are eligible but must be complete)

The blocks in your Quilt need to be made using the Westalee Rulers and Templates, as per the instructions in the patterns

You need to send us a good quality photo of the whole quilt and a close up photo containing 4 blocks, either by email or post no later than 5pm Thursday 31st January 2013

The judges decision will be final, no correspondence will be entered into. The Winner or Winners will be notified by email and will be posted on our web site.
